I grew up in the the 1970's horror generation of have a bloody day. We have nutritious cereals like Count Chocula, BooBerry, Frankenberry, and Frute Brute. Scooby Doo was still playing and fun. Since infomercials weren't invented yet we had old horror movies to watch on WLVI Channel 56 "Creature Double Feature". We'd spend horror looking through Johnson Smith Company catalogs. Although we weren't allowed to go see Halloween we were memorized by the commercials. At the end of the 70's we had Elvira. It was pretty cool being a kid in the 70's.
My love for horror only grew over the years. I tended to favor older movies though because of the great actors like Vincent Price, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney, Bela Lugosi, Vampira, Elvira, Peter Lorre, Basil Rathbone and many others.
Now I sell Halloween props as well as make my own. Each year I also run my own home haunt and have done so for the past 20 years.
